Caroline Hall

Caroline was a reporter and presenter for the BBC before studying painting at Winchester School of Art. She graduated in 2007 with an MA in Fine Art.

Caroline works from an open studio in Winchester where visitors can come and go whilst she paints. ‘I am not an artist who yearns for solitude. Painting gives me the freedom to be who I want to be. No boundaries, no deadlines and the excitement of every blank canvas’.

Caroline admires the work of Howard Hodgkin, particularly his use of colour; and a fascination with capturing movement and digital pixilation reflects her background in television.

Caroline has exhibited in New York, London and throughout the UK. Coastal Gallery is delighted to stock a small selection of Caroline’s work.
