I spent 4 years at Bournemouth and Poole college of art and 30 years in advertising so having never done a proper day's work in my life I decided to retire and paint.

I paint leaves and foliage and all the messy chaotic bits of nature. All the paintings are oil on canvas.

Achievements to date:

• I won the The Worshipful Company of Painter Stainers Prize at The New English Art Club Exhibition.
• A selected finalist at the National Open Art Competition.
• Short listed for the final judging of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2009
• Shortlisted for the final judging of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2018

I have paintings in collections in the U.S.A, Germany, Canada, Italy, Geneva, New Zealand, the Channel Isles, London and all over the U.K
