Helen has taught since 1989 working in adult, further and higher education in Dorset and Hampshire in subjects including drawing, painting, graphic design, illustration, spatial design and interior architecture.
She works with most drawing and painting media, printmaking and stitched textiles. After graduating in graphic design and illustration, Helen gained her master’s degree in art, design and media from the University of Portsmouth and is a fully qualified teacher in post compulsory education and training. Early in her career she was a product demonstrator for Rexel Derwent, Daler Rowney and Winsor & Newton.

Helen is an Ambassador for Naomi House & Jacksplace Hospices for Children & Young Adults and a governor at Pennington Infant School.
