Born in Poland, Joanna Pilarczyk began drawing and painting at an early age. She developed her skills during 10 years of studying Art at both college and University. She obtained her MA degree in Fine Art specialising in oil painting at the University of Zielona Gora, Poland in 2008.
After moving to London in 2012 she launched a career as a contemporary figurative Artist.
Pilarczyk has exhibited widely in her native Poland, and since moving to the UK has continued to show her work during the exhibitions, at venues such as the Boomer Gallery, Candid Arts Trust, Autonomous Gallery and Hive Dalston. She currently showcases her paintings at virtual exhibition 'Mindfulness' organised by Visionary Projects & Voss Gallery and also at 'What is Art' exhibition by Boomer Gallery in London. Her work features in numerous private collections.
