Katy Lyall

I am an amateur artist who works with oils on canvas, I’ve just graduated university with a degree in fine art from UCA in Canterbury. I’m wondering if you could help me understand how I can get my work to be seen in an exhibition and what the steps are to getting there. I’m a little blindsided with the art world at the moment and if anything just a bit of information I would be happy to take on. My paintings consist of quite rustic brown towns and can have quite a dystopian feel to them, I enjoy working with edges and expressive tones despite my palette being quite dark and rusty. I enjoy painting the human form within these rusty canvases which creates a level of surrealism to the figure being portrayed.
