I have been painting all my life, although more serious professional work pressures often took precedence. I am influenced by what I see in front of me, often local landscape, forest and sea. But I am most engaged by people, especially expressive faces and stances. On my travels I work in water colour; in my studio mainly acrylic.
Formerly chair of the Lymington Palette Club, I have also exhibited at Bath, Southampton and St Barbe Lymington, and regularly at Hampshire Open Studios.
