Marja Brown studied art in college and practiced her love for pottery for many years. She ran a successful pottery in East Stour, but when she retired at the age of 60 she dedicated herself solely to painting local landscapes and seascapes and also found herself painting the vibrant bright poppies she so adores. Playing with colours and textures, creating semi abstract art is now filling her life. She successfully sells her paintings through commissions, exhibitions, craft markets and on the online galleries.
