Moira Hazel

Moira Hazel originally trained at the renowned Dartington Hall in Totnes, Devon. Now based in Dorset, she describes herself as having “a compulsive desire to paint, make marks and produce vivid and expressive work.” Her joyful, exuberant paintings are sparked by whatever captures her attention — an unexpected colour pairing in nature, a pattern on a scrap of fabric, flowers in full summer bloom, the sharp Mediterranean light or the rich hues and textures of the Australian landscape. Whatever the source, Moira’s distinctive style and exceptional sense of colour result in artworks guaranteed to lift the spirits. 

Moira exhibits widely across the UK and in Australia, where she travels regularly.
