My name is Phil and I am a self taught artist who enjoys painting portraits for people and transforming a lovely photograph into a special portrait. I have been into art all my life and have committed many years practicing getting to the standard I produce today. After sketching the photograph in pencil and then letting the oil paint take over, I have developed a skill enabling me to create a “lifelike portrait”. Although this can be a time consuming technique, it certainly is well worth the wait and certainly fits any occasion. Being a perfectionist I have always worked meticulously in capturing the emotion behind every photograph.
Above all else and most importantly, I strive to complete each portrait to 100% satisfaction.
