I am 70 years of age and I have been working as an artist since 2011. I have been on various courses in Carcassone, France, Tuscany Italy and with the St Ives School of Painting. I have an A level in Art Appreciation and have taken courses on all kinds of art techniques, including masking fluid and vitro acrylics made by Pebeo, to all kinds of affects with acrylics and watercolours.
My work can be seen at the Ninevah House in Arundel, where I have been exhibiting since 2019.
I also belong to the Battle Art Group and spends Thursdays with fellow art students painting outdoors in East Sussex venues. I have sold a few paintings in their Art Exhibitions and they have their annual exhibition every Xmas time covid permitting. I have had two paintings accepted for their annual calendar. They especially like my watercolour poppies.
In 2019 and 2021, I had two exhibitions in Level Best Art Cafe Colchester where special needs students learn to fend for themselves.
In February 2019, I helped to run a Festival in Brightlingsea called Winterfest.
