The Milford Art Group was formed approximately thirty years ago for local artists to meet, share their knowledge and expertise. The Group meets on the first Thursday of each month in Milford Church Hall, Church Hill, Milford on Sea at 2.00pm. Visitors are most welcome. (Kindly note this is not to be used as a postal address.)
Our demonstrators are professional artists who cover all painting media: watercolour, acrylic, pastel and oil. They are filmed and relayed to a large screen television so that the entire audience can see. They can be very inspirational, with many of our members keen to try out these observed new techniques as soon as they return home. Sadly, we don't have tuition facilities on site.
Due to popular demand our membership has increased to 65 full members and 30 associates.
At the end of July we hold our Summer Exhibition which lasts for two weeks.
