James Millichamp is an artist and educator working from his studio in Shropshire. He grew up and studied in Wolverhampton, completing an MA in Fine Art Current page. His work has been exhibited regionally and nationally, and he recently completed a residency at the School of Art, University of Wolverhampton. Alongside his studio practice, James curates and organises exhibitions across the West Midlands and beyond. He is also Head of Art at Shrewsbury High School.
Millichamp’s work is recognised for its fusion of bold aesthetics and thought‑provoking ideas, blending a range of mediums and techniques to create compositions that are both visually striking and intellectually engaging. His distinctive approach to artistic expression continues to attract attention, and in 2023 he won the Belle Vue Art Competition.
