Ironbridge Fine Arts is a family-run gallery, printmaking studio, and framing workshop located in the heart of Ironbridge Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are dedicated to celebrating the art of printmaking in all its forms, offering visitors a unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary creativity.

Our gallery hosts a continually changing programme of exhibitions, showcasing works from emerging and established artists alike, all free for the public to explore. Each year, we run the Ironbridge Fine Arts Printmaking Competition, an international event that attracts talented printmakers from around the world, celebrating both innovative techniques and the enduring traditions of the medium.

Visitors to Ironbridge Fine Arts can also experience our expert Guild-certified picture framing, view our fine art reproductions, and learn about our iconic Gunning etching presses, used by artists globally for precision printmaking. Ironbridge Fine Arts proudly presents the 2026 International Printmaking Competition Exhibition, a celebration of the very best in contemporary printmaking from around the world. This annual event showcases an extraordinary range of techniques and approaches, from traditional etching, intaglio, linocut, and photogravure to experimental and mixed-media print processes.

The exhibition brings together works by emerging artists and well-established professionals, highlighting both innovation and mastery in the field. Visitors will have the opportunity to view a curated selection of exceptional prints that demonstrate technical excellence, creativity, and the global reach of printmaking today.

As part of Ironbridge Fine Arts’ commitment to promoting printmaking, this competition and exhibition provide a platform for artists to gain international recognition, while offering the public a unique and immersive experience in contemporary print practice. Admission is free, and the exhibition will run in-gallery from 4 July to 26 September 2026.
