Maggie is a landscape painter who likes to work in a slightly abstracted way to incorporate a sense of the weather and her experience of being in that landscape. Her work is inspired by the wild Cornish coast, the local Solent shore where she lives and places she visits on her travels.
Maggie has a Fine Art degree from the University of Chichester and won the Cornwall Life Landscape Painter of the Year 2016. She has also been shortlisted for a number of other awards.
She runs workshops, exhibits, and supports other local artists.
Last year Maggie undertook a month long artist residency in Shetland.
